Today the program of the World Cup in ski-orienteering starts with the Model Event. Almost all teams have arrived now. But for many of those arriving at Bucharest airport it was a pretty long and exhausting travel. Icy roads and traffic accidents were the main reasons for long queues and the big delays. However all travelers were expected with good food and fast accommodating. So far snow conditions are satisfying but there are expected snowfalls all day so organizers hope that excellent conditions will be provided for the sprint tomorrow. World cup races start with sprint distance on Tuesday and there going to be about seventy competitors at start. More than fifty are expected to start at Uzana Cup open races (2nd and 3rd of February) while at the national championships that begin on 4th there will be more than 150 competitors on start. These promise to be a big public cheering for the best ski-orienteers in the world. There are still possibilities for booking accommodation and organizers encourage all that have taught of participating but have not decided yet to come and be a part of the Big Event!
